On Monday 13 April 2026, we sketched at Arts Bar on Hope Street, inside the old Masonic Hall. Doorways, mirrors, furnishings and people sharing the room appear beside street views and photographs of hands drawing and painting.
The Masonic Hall at 22 Hope Street is a Grade II listed building dating from the 1850s. Its interiors and architectural details give the Arts Bar setting much of its character.
