On Monday 15 June 2026, we met at The Bagelry on Nelson Street and sketched around Liverpool Chinatown. The Chinese arch, stone lions, shopfronts and cafe details fill the pages before the sketchbooks come together on a bench for the throwdown.
Liverpool’s Chinese arch was made in Shanghai and shipped to Liverpool in pieces. It marks the relationship between the two cities and the entrance to Chinatown.
