On Monday 30 March 2026, we met upstairs at The Bookbinder on Lark Lane for our Monday sketching session. Plants, furniture, people and views along the street filled the sketchbooks. Afterwards we went along Lark Lane to set up the Downtown Sketchers exhibition at The Amorous Cat gallery; the group photograph records that exhibition setup, rather than the sketching venue.
The Bookbinder is a neighbourhood pub, wine bar and eatery at one end of Lark Lane, near Sefton Park. This visit also records the group preparing its exhibition at the nearby Amorous Cat gallery.
