On Monday 21 August 2023, we met at Lovelocks on Old Haymarket. Some sketches look along the street towards the shopfronts, while others pick out a clock face, a telephone box and architectural details.
Old Haymarket is the Liverpool entrance to the Queensway Tunnel. Historic England’s photographic archive records the entrance and the central lighting pylon seen from the street.
