On Monday 12 May 2025, we met at Lovelocks before heading outside around Old Haymarket. The sketches show trees, shopfronts, a bicycle and the approach to the tunnel, with the sketchbooks gathered at the end.
Old Haymarket is the Liverpool entrance to the Queensway Tunnel. Historic England’s photographs document the entrance and its central lighting pylon.
