On Monday 13 October 2025, we sketched at the Municipal Hotel on Dale Street. Palms, decorative objects and figures appear alongside drawings and watercolours of the building and its clock tower.

The Municipal Hotel occupies the Grade II* listed Municipal Buildings on Dale Street. Completed in 1868, the former civic offices retain a distinctive clock tower.
