On Monday 22 December 2025, we sketched at the Philharmonic Pub on Hope Street. The ornate interior, decorative figures, doorways and nearby buildings provided subjects for pencil, ink and watercolour.
The Philharmonic Dining Rooms was built between 1898 and 1900 to designs by Walter W. Thomas. Its elaborate exterior and richly decorated rooms are recognised by its Grade I listing.
