On Monday 7 July 2025, we met at The Pumphouse by the docks. The brick chimney, boats, waterfront buildings and a colourful vehicle all appear in the sketchbooks laid out at the end of the morning.
The Pumphouse was built to supply hydraulic power to the dock. The chimney and engine house are reminders of the machinery that once served the waterfront.
