On Monday 12 January 2026, we sketched at The Brink on Parr Street. Cups, plants, people and the cafe’s roof structure filled the sketchbooks, while others painted the streets outside.

The Brink opened in 2011 and is among the UK’s early sober bars. The cafe also provides a setting for community and recovery support.
