On Monday 6 October 2025, we met at the Shakespeare in Williamson Square. Sketches of the Playhouse and St John's Beacon sit beside flowers, figures and views across the square, gathered for a table-top throwdown.
The Playhouse opened as The Star in 1866. Its theatre frontage is an important part of the setting of Williamson Square.
