On Monday 13 March 2023, we met in the Victoria Building cafe and sketched the tiled hall, arches and decorative details. The gallery includes both close studies and wider views through the interior.

The University of Liverpool’s Victoria Building dates from 1892. Following restoration, it opened as the Victoria Gallery & Museum in 2008.
