- The Downtown Sketchers community brings together urban artists with a shared passion for capturing Liverpool's vibrant cityscape. Founded on July 4, 2022, with a meetup at the iconic Bombed Out Church on Berry Street, this group has flourished in both numbers and creative spirit. This book reflects our journey through 2024, showcasing the growth of Downtown Sketchers and the diversity of our work. Each Monday at 11 a.m., we gather to explore Liverpool's hidden corners and beloved landmarks, sketching life as it unfolds and celebrating the city’s architecture, history, and rich culture. In addition to our Liverpool sketches, an "On Tour" section chronicles our artistic adventures beyond the city, capturing the spirit of urban life wherever our travels take us. Every artwork within these pages is a window into the individual style and perspective of our members, weaving a vibrant tapestry of Liverpool’s charm in 2024.
