Hickory’s Smokehouse, Chester

On Thursday 14 August 2025, our Chester day trip took us to Hickory’s on the River Dee. The curves of the bandstand roof and the arches of the bridge turn up across the sketchbooks. Hickory’s stands on The Groves, Chester’s riverside promenade. The bandstand and the view across the Dee gave us several subjects within a short walk.
