Lady Lever Art Gallery, Port Sunlight

On Thursday 3 July 2025, we took a day trip to Port Sunlight and visited the Lady Lever Art Gallery for the Jim Moir exhibition and sketched around the village. The throwdown includes studies of timber-framed houses, the gallery and the surrounding streets. William Lever founded the gallery in memory of his wife. It opened in 1922 in Port Sunlight, the village built for workers at the Lever Brothers factory.
