Coffee Carriage, Maghull

On Thursday 6 August 2026, a day trip to Coffee Carriage at Maghull Station brought platforms, canopies and the footbridge into our sketchbooks. The drawings range from light pencil studies to watercolour views along the tracks, with a sunflower and cafe details among the smaller subjects. The railway reached Maghull in 1849, when a station opened on the Liverpool, Ormskirk and Preston Railway.
