The Nordic Church, Park Lane

On Monday 26 January 2026, we sketched at the Nordic Church on Park Lane. The vaulted interior, altar, bookshelves and building exterior appear in the drawings, alongside photographs of hands at work and the final sketchbook throwdown. The Scandinavian Seamen’s Church was consecrated in December 1884. Its distinctive architecture reflects Liverpool’s longstanding connections with Nordic seafarers and communities.
