St John’s Gardens

On Monday 11 July 2022, we gathered behind St George’s Hall for our second outing. The statues, paths and carved details fill sketchbook pages from several viewpoints. St John’s Gardens opened in 1904 on the site of an earlier church and burial ground. Its monuments stand below the western terrace of St George’s Hall.
