On Monday 15 December 2025, we gathered at the Egg Cafe on Newington for our Christmas party and the launch of Downtown Sketchers 2025, our second annual book. Sketchbooks still came out: portraits, cafe interiors and small studies record the afternoon.
The Egg Cafe occupies the upper floors of a listed building on Newington. Its colourful rooms and windows above the street have made it a familiar setting for our sketching meetups.
